A weekend in the Swiss Alps

Hey guys,

I’m back from my latest trip and ready to tell you all about the great time I’ve spent in the Swiss Alps with Sarah and her lovely family.

On Saturday morning Sarah and her family picked me up at a train station nearby and Sarah actually drove us to their holiday cottage in the french speaking part of Switzerland. On our way there we stopped in Montreux and enjoyed a lunch under palm trees! After that, when we arrived at our final destination, Sarah’s family showed me the cute village Nendaz. Later on we had a super nice home-cooked dinner, and at night Sarah I went out to a bar in Nendaz and we even practiced our french skills!

On Sunday we obviously went skiing the whole day, and despite the unpromising weather forecast our afternoon was actually pretty sunny! Unfortunately, after an early family-dinner, Sarah and I already had to leave for work, and went home to Zürich again.

Although it was short, I really, really enjoyed my weekend and want to thank Sarah and her family so, so, so much for inviting me on their family holiday! It was so nice of them and they were simply the best hosts ever!!

Hope you guys had a great weekend too!

Montreux – So bizarre that this almost Côte d’Azur like town is just an hour away from the skiing resort.
Happy faces when we arrived in Nendaz.
Skiing with retro skis.. Luckily Sarah’s mum lent them to me!
Greetings and kisses from the mountains! xxx
